Kathy called me today and I told her that when I want quality (personal and professional), you are the individual that I call. I have plenty of other Recruiters that are cheaper that offer a mediocre service at a mediocre price, but if this is a position(s) that is important to the organization, if she needs a pro that is a savvy business person in addition to the normal Recruiter talents, and in general just a fine human being, that you are my guy. Not many Recruiters can truly communicate and thus interview high level business people. I explained to Kathy that you understand how business’ work at a very sophisticated level and therefore can discern whether an individual possesses the right skill set. I added that I trust you implicitly, regularly share extremely confidential info with you, etc. I discussed your systematic approach in terms of thoroughly evaluating candidates, being able to communicate where they meet an organizations needs and where they are short, rank ordering, being adequately networked to provide cost of living comparisons, etc. She asked for a lot of detail like the types of positions we had used you for, the # of EE’s, sales, etc. Apparently this is a pivotal role for her, “could make or break their future”, so I will be surprised if she doesn’t give you the business.
